onlygrans

Onlyfans is a bit naughty.  OnlyGrans is hopefully wholesome and helpful to the general public.  Whilst we may not share pictures of our feet, we will get out the sourdough from time to time (!)  The lush Welshman, Ziggy the hamster, and the blonde idiot thought that OnlyGrans would be a whimsical take - as two people who are considered adults by the letter of the law, we are pretty clueless about plenty of 'adult' things.  This blog is for the collection of advice and wisdom from the brilliant people in our lives.

I recognise that I'm extremely lucky to have my grandparents - they're both incredible, knowledgeable and kind people.  You only need to ask for a recipe for sourdough and Grandma Sally will be on the case, with pictures and plenty of advice!  But for those who don't have people around them, or perhaps do but have quite specific questions, we thought that there should be a big directory where we reached out to people in the know to share the information with whoever needs to know it.

I've been in plenty of pickles that, without my parents and grandparents, I would have majorly f*cked up.  One time I put coolant in the oil tank in my car.  Had no idea what to do.  Called my grandad who passed me onto his mechanic friend who told me on no uncertain terms to NOT TURN THE ENGINE ON.  Got a neighbour to winch the car up, undid the sump bung and Bob's your bloody uncle.  Drain it, fill it and you're on your way (I did also have help from the AA because sometimes you need someone who has the tools to get a sump bung off....).
